Gift-giving is supposed to be thoughtful, but let’s be honest, it’s also stressful.

You want to give something meaningful. I want to receive something useful. Somewhere in between, panic happens.

So instead of pretending I “love surprises” (I don’t), here’s a simple solution:

a list of things you can gift me without thinking too hard and I’ll genuinely appreciate every single one.

This isn’t about being picky. It’s about removing friction, awkwardness, and unused gifts.

Note: I already have the items with strikethough.

Gadgets:

  • Aroma Diffuser (I already bought this at a discount)
  • Canon 6D Mark II (or better)
  • Garmin Forerunner 55 (or better)
  • Jisulife Handheld Fan (gave by my boss)
  • Nord Stage 4 (expensive af, I doubt someone can give me this)
  • StackMat Timer (for speedcubing)
  • Industrial Grade Water Purifier (At home, we drink water directly from the waterfall UNFILTERED ☠️)
  • Motherboard (AM4)
  • Vacuum Cleaner
  • Gimbal

Personal Items:

Books

Experiences

The Ultimate Low-Effort Option

If you’re really unsure:

  • Ask me

  • Or just show up

Presence beats panic-buying every time.

Why This List Exists?

This list isn’t about removing meaning, it’s about removing pressure.

A good gift isn’t about surprise value.

It’s about usefulness, timing, and intention.

And honestly?

The best gift is knowing someone didn’t stress just to make me smile.
